STAY UP-TO-DATE! Please check back here often throughout  April 2023
We will continually add to this article as we release new features this month.

Mobile App

  1. New Versions: iOS 5.3.1 and Android 6.3.7
    1. Added new logs to help troubleshooting an issue we are currently having with units tracking.
    2. iOS release also has a fix for an issue related to alert tones and multiple switch accounts

Personnel Module

  1. Scheduling
    1.  FLSA Inclusion Rules
      1. We added an option to the Setup/FLSA Rules, to include or exclude work types and time-off types in the FLSA export. By default, all work types are included, and no time off type.

    2. Remove single Personnel from Call Shift

      1. You can manually change the outcome of a Call Shift if needed. A person who accepted a Call Shift may end up not being able to work the shift, or a person may not have an internet connection but want to accept a Call Shift, so admin is able to remove him from the Call Shift or set his status to accepted for him. Admin need the "Scheduling - Call Shifts - Update user status" permission for that.
      2. On the Call Shift history -> Details page of a Call Shift, if the user has the above permission, a few possible new actions appear:
        1. Set to accepted: Set the Call Shift User's status to ‘accepted’. This option is only allowed if there is available capacity on the call shift
        2. Remove, but keep ranking change: Set the Call Shift User's status to ‘accepted (removed)’. This status should still count towards Call Shift rankings, like it was accepted.
        3. Remove completely: Set the Call Shift User's status to ‘removed’. It is not possible to do any other action
      3. Available edit options per current status:
        1. queued, pending, no response, contact error, denied, candidate -> Set to accepted

accepted -> Remove (keep ranking) | Remove completely

          accepted (removed) -> Remove completely

    3. Protected Times Off Types
      1. We released an option that allows hiding what kind of Time Off a user is taking from regular users, only shown to admin-type users with the “Scheduling - Time Off - See protected Time Off Types” permission enabled.
      2. A new 'Protect' toggle is now on the Add/Edit Time Off Type page. If the toggle is on the label of the Time Off Type will only be visible for users with the proper permission mentioned above.

Admin View (see protected permission ON)

Basic View (see protected permission OFF)

    4. See multiple users' data on My Shift
      1. A new feature release for those departments that want to see multiple people's schedules at the same time on the My Shifts calendar, for cross-referencing.

      2. A new set of filters above the calendar was added. It is available in both month and week views.

      3. Users -> Multi-select field. List all selectable personnel.

Qualifiers | Groups | Districts -> Multi-select fields also. Only selectable if the user selector is clear.

  1. Scheduling
    1. Sign up Workflow
Now, the "end user" can sign up for single vacancies on the Shift Board.

      1. New Settings Involved:

        1. Allow users to sign up for open vacancies

        2. Sing up requires admin approval (only shows if pervious setting is turned on)

        3. If sign up is allowed, a "user add" icon is shown on every vacancy on hover, if the vacancy is for today or a future date (so not past dates). If the position has a required qualifier only those ones could sign up there.

        4. If admin approval is required, pending sign-ups displays in the vacancy, and an approve/deny button for each (if "Scheduling - Shift Board - Approve / Deny Work Shift Request" permission enabled). Requests can be deleted using the trash icon.

        5. Available for all 30/7/3/1 day views.

    2. Off-Roster Pay Rate

A new toggle was added in the off-roster adding modal. Now you can add pay rate vs hours/time (duration)
The pay rate was added in a new column on reports if the pay rate option is on. Same in Ad Hoc reports.

  1. Scheduling
    1. Recurring Time Off

Users could be on time off for a long duration (multiple days/weeks). Now, admins are able to do that.

      1. When drag & dropping someone on the Time Off area, on the resulting modal window, a new “Recurring Time Off” toggle was added. If enabled, the start/end Date fields are shown allowing the admin to select a large date interval since current date on the shift board. The system will find all work shifts / user rotations in the selected date/time frame, and create a Time Off for each of them.

      2. For those multiple time off created at the same time, if an admin goes to deny or delete any of them (Time off/Review menu), clicking on the confirm button of the image below, he is going to be able to perform the action for that single instance, but he is able to do for all of the instances that were created together as well by checking the related Date box before confirming.

    2. Setup Redesign
    3. Available auto hire on Call Shifts
    4. Off Roster on "My Shifts"
    5. Scheduling Deputy/ Vacancies jump out more.
