FLSA Cycles
Purpose
- To explain the FLSA Cycle settings in the Personnel Module.
Definition: The Fair Labor Standards Act requires overtime pay for Firefighters in a different manner than normal civilian jobs due to the unique schedule. Commonly, Firefighters work 212 hours in a 28 day period before getting overtime pay.
IMPORTANT: Personnel and Scheduling modules have split. This article and video tell you to access the Personnel Module. You should instead access the Scheduling Module.

Directions
1. Click on Personnel>Setup.
2. FLSA Cycles allow you to put in the FLSA Length and the start date.
3. You can turn the section off by clicking the switch.
4. Click on Save when you are done making changes.
