Responding to Call Shifts

Purpose

  1. To explain how a individual can respond to Call Shift Notifications.
IMPORTANT: Personnel and Scheduling modules have split. This article and video tell you to access the Personnel Module. You should instead access the Scheduling Module.

Notification Methods

  1. Individuals can be notified of pending Call Shifts by:
    1. Phone SMS (Text Message) 
    2. Email 
    3. Phone Call 
    4. Push Notification
  2. To turn on (or off) any of these delivery messages, select your name from the upper right hand corner 




  3. Next, navigate to the Notifications sub-menu and select the methods of delivery that you wish to use




  4. Finally, select 


Responding Via Text Message

  1. A text message will be delivered notifying you of :
    1. The qualifier that has a vacancy (in this case, it is a test qualifier) 
    2. The date that the vacancy is on
    3. The time frame that coverage is needed
    4. The ability to respond Yes or No via text message



  2. If you are accepting or denying the call shift, simply respond with the Call Shift number and yes or no
    1. In this example, the call shift number is 13463



  3. Failure to include the call shift number will generate a response, informing you that the response was invalid



Responding Via Phone Call 

  1. You will receive a phone call notifying you of:
    1. The qualifier that has a vacancy 
    2. The date that the vacancy is on
    3. The time frame that coverage is needed
    4. The ability to respond Yes or No by pressing 1 or 2 

Responding Online

  1. When you receive a notification via Email or Push Notification, you will be required to respond online
  2. Emails that you receive will have the web address located at the bottom of the message for you to click on



  3. Push Notifications will not have the ability to take you directly to respond to the Call Shift



  4. Either option will require you to navigate to Personnel>Dashboard



  5. You will then see the Call Shift located in the upper left hand corner



  6. You can then select the checkmark  to accept the call shift, or the  to deny the call shift
  7. Selecting the eye  will take you to the specific information about the call shift



IMPORTANT: You must have proper permissions to view the history of the Call Shifts
