  1. To explain how to use the "Configuration Fields" section of the Fire Incident EMS Module setup page.

1. Navigate to Fire Incident Setup from the Incident Documentation Module.

2. Click on EMS Module.

3. There are two configurable fields: Treatments and Medications.






4. Use the dropdown menu to select applicable treatments.

6. If desired, change the label for a treatment to adhere to match local protocols.

7. Use the medication dropdown to select applicable medications.

9. Inside Medication Details, medication labels can be altered to match local protocols. Additionally, click on settings for more options.

10. Set the available routes, dosage, and units for specific medications. Additionally, set default values to auto-populate when the medication is selected during incident documentation.
Setting the available dose ranges, routes, and units associated with a specific medication can greatly reduce medication administration and documentation errors. Setting default ranges can make documentation smoother and more user friendly.

11. Click on Update Medication Settings to save your work.
