New Feature Release: Reciprocal Trades

Background

  1. We are excited to announce the release of the Reciprocal Trades feature within the First Due system. Numerous customers have requested the abilty to conduct reciprocal trades.  Previously if a person was submitting a trade with another individual it would need two transactions.  Personnel requesting the day off would iniate one transaction while personnel receiving the "payback" trade would have to iniate a seperate transaction.  With Reciprocal trades this can now be accomplished with only one Trade Time request.

Reciprocal Trades:

  1. This feature allows for one Shift Trade request to be initiated, with the user choosing both dates of the trade. ( They day someone will work for them and th day they will work for the person tradining with them)
    1. Previously, both users had to submit a trade request to complete a full Shift trade, but now it happens all-in-one. 
  2. When submitting the request, users have the ability to toggle on Reciprocal Trades, which allows them to choose the date they will work for the other individual. 



  1. By clicking the Trade Date, it pulls the next months work of days the individual is working, allowing them to choose.
