Methods of Managing Hydrant Status

Purpose

To demonstrate the different methods to manage a hydrant status.

Option 1


1. Navigate to Hydrants select Hydrants List.

2. Using either Saved Views or search fields to assist in locating the hydrant to manage status.

3. Select on the pencil icon of the Hydrant to edit.

4. From the Hydrant Status dropdown select In or Out of Service then select Save to update changes.

If marking out of service a Reason Out of Service will populate to add any remarks.

Option 2


1. Navigate to Pre-Planning and select Pre-Plans Map.

2. Select the hydrant then select on Edit.

3. From the Hydrant Status dropdown select In or Out of Service.

If marking out of service a Reason Out of Service will populate to add any remarks.

1. Navigate to Hydrant Service Checklist Setup.

2. When creating or editing a Service Checklist you can select from the Response Type dropdown Status.

3. Now when completing a Service Check of a hydrant it can be marked in or out of service.
