Others > Places - Move Pin Location

  1. Select the green (or orange) address icon you'd like to move

  2. Select

  3. In edit mode, you can drag and re-position the marker.

  4. Select

Adding a New, Independent Address

Users have the ability to add a new address that is not already populated in the account.

NOTE: The role permission associated with adding Occupancy Markers, whether they are primary or secondary addresses, is:
Pre-Planning > Create New Occupancy on the Map

ATTENTION: To add an underlying Unit, such as an Apartment or sub-occupancy, tied to a main address, please see the next section.

To add a brand new address that is not identified by a green address marker, follow these steps:

  1. Double-check and verify that this address does not already exist within First Due. Duplicates can cause issues.

  2. On the top left menu select, Pre-Planning > Pre-Plans Map.

      3. Double click on the map where you'd like to add a new address, then select "New Occupancy".

      4. When entering the Address Details, make sure your text matches the same format as other addresses in your account (ex: Street vs. St or Avenue vs. Av vs. Ave).

            5. Select

Secondary Address Tied to the Main Address

NOTE: Secondary addresses allow for documenting individual units at a main address location. This feature is best used for apartments within a common, single-address, building, strip malls, malls, etc.  The secondary address feature allows for more detailed pre-planning about each unit.
