Fire Investigations - Persons Involved

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this Knowledge Base Article is to demonstrate how to add Persons Involved to a Fire Investigation Record.

Instructions

1. Navigate to Fire Investigation.


Navigate to Fire Investigation.



2. Click on Investigations List.


Click on Investigations List.



3. Select "Add Fire Investigation" to start a new investigation record, or the "edit" icon next to the investigation that you would like to add persons involved to.






4. Click on Persons Involved.

5. Click on Type of Involvement and select the proper Involvement.

6. Witness, Owner, Renter/Tenant, Person of Interest, and Other will only show Personal Information.






7. Enter Personal Information, as appropriate.

8. Enter Next of Kin information, as appropriate.

9. To add a Statement, select "+" and enter information as appropriate.
  1. Signatures can be added to all Person Involved Types except for Deceased.






10. Select "Save" to save the data you entered.






11. Injured will only show Personal Information and Injury. Fill in Personal Information as appropriate.

12. Select Injury and fill in applicable information.

13. Deceased will show Personal Information, Injury, and Examination. Fill in Personal Information as appropriate.

14. Select Injury and fill in applicable information.

15. Select Examination and fill in applicable information.

16. Select Adult or Child/Infant and then enter data into the Body Diagram, select "Edit."






17. To note locations of Blister or Burns, select appropriately and double click on the point.

18. To enter comments for a point noted, select edit, choose the point, enter your comments, and select "Save."






19. Select "Save" when done.






20. Select Save after entering data for each Person Involved.

21. You are able to add more Persons Involved by selecting the "+" Persons Involved.






22. Click on Save when done entering information.
