Exposure Setup - Navigating and Adding Exposure Types

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to give an overview of the Exposure Setup along with adding custom Exposure Types.

  1. Only personnel with the proper permission will be able to create or edit Exposure Setup.
  2. There are four default Exposure Types that create additional tabs when documenting Exposures:
    1. Traumatic
    2. Physical
    3. Biological
    4. Chemical
  3. There will be enhancements to this module at a later time that when creating custom Exposure Types will create an additional tab allowing you to gather further information on the custom exposure type.
Warning
It is important to know if you delete any of the four default Exposure Types this deletes them permanently and you are not able to recover them.


Directions


1. Navigate to the Health & Wellness module then select on Exposure Setup.

2. From the Exposures Setup selecting the three bar stack will maximize your screen space.

3. Columns can be rearranged and sorted.

  1. Rearrange by dragging columns.
  2. Sort by selecting on column header.

4. You can choose how many Exposure Types to display on the screen by 20, 50 or 100.

5. From the Actions column you are able to edit an Exposure Type by selecting on the pencil icon.

6. From the Edit Exposure Type modal you are able to edit the Code along with the Name then select Save.

7. To delete Exposure Types can be done in two ways, the first is by selecting the trash can icon from the Actions column.

8. The second way to delete Exposure Types is in bulk, select the check boxes next to the Exposure Types you wish to delete then select on the Trash can icon next to the + Add.





9. Once selecting the Trash can icon will bring up a warning modal before deleting.

10. After selecting Delete in the warning modal a message may appear, indicating that if Exposure Types are in use and they are not able to be deleted.

11. To begin creating custom Exposure Types select on the + Add.





12. From the Add Exposure Type modal enter the Code and Name which are required fields to create Exposure Types then select Save.

13. Selecting on the First Due logo will populate your module stacks.

14. Now you can navigate to other modules along with their subsections.
