This article demonstrates how to view and download marketing resources from your Community Connect Files page. These assets—including print materials, digital images, and social media content—can be used to promote your Community Connect program across external platforms and community outreach initiatives.

Community Connect provides departments with a comprehensive library of ready-to-use marketing materials designed to promote resident engagement and program awareness. The Files page serves as a centralized hub for accessing print assets, digital graphics, brand resources, and pre-written social media content. These materials are professionally designed and can be customized to align with your department's outreach strategy.

  2. Ensures consistent branding across all Community Connect communications
  3. Supports various outreach channels (social media, print, web)
  4. Includes seasonal and targeted safety messaging

Required Permissions

No special permissions are required to access the Community Connect Files page. This resource is available to all department personnel with access to your Community Connect portal URL.

Step-by-Step Guide


1. Navigate to Your Community Connect Files Page
Your Files page URL follows a simple pattern based on your Community Connect Landing page:
  1. Landing Page Format: https://www.communityconnect.io/info/[state]-[city]
  2. Files Page Format: https://www.communityconnect.io/files/[state]-[city]

Notes
Example:
If your landing page is: https://www.communityconnect.io/info/nv-reno
Your files page is: https://www.communityconnect.io/files/nv-reno
Simply replace "info" with "files" in your landing page URL.






2. Review Available Resource Categories

Once on the Files page, scroll past your Department Information section to view the resource library organized into four main categories:





3. Access Print Assets.

Locate the Print Assets section
This area contains downloadable cards and flyers with instructions for creating Community Connect accounts
Click on individual assets to download PDF files
Print and distribute at community events, fire stations, or public safety fairs


Scroll down past your Department Information.



4. Download Digital Assets.

Navigate to the Digital Assets section
Browse featured images designed for social media platforms
Click to download high-resolution graphics
Use these images in Facebook posts, Instagram stories, Twitter updates, and other digital channels

Digital Assets allow you the ability to download featured images that can also be utilized in your social media posts.



5.  Explore Other Resources.

Access the Other Resources section
Download brand guidelines, website graphics, and marketing videos
Use these materials to maintain consistent Community Connect branding across all department communications
Videos can be shared on YouTube, department websites, or social media platforms

Other Resources gives you additional Brand, Website and Marketing Videos to be utilized for your Community Connect Program.



6. Utilize Pre-Written Content Updates.

Scroll to the Content Updates section
Find targeted messaging for specific safety topics including:
  1. Holiday Safety
  2. Severe Weather Preparedness
  3. Fire Safety at School
  4. Seasonal fire prevention tips


Lastly there are various Content Updates that include Target Group messaging in terms of Holiday Safety, Severe Weather, Fire Safety at School. The content can be downloaded and once downloaded the information can be copied and pasted to your social media posts.
