Purpose

  1. To explain how to delete and recover fire incident reports.

1. Incident reports automatically populate in the Fire Incident List after a dispatch is generated.

2. View all incident reports from the Fire Incident List.

3. Depending on user permissions, click the trash can icon to delete an erroneous incident report. Click the clock icon to view a delete history log for the report.

4. If deleting, confirm the choice to delete the incident report.

5. The report will now be visible in the Deleted Fire Incidents list.

6. Filtering of deleted fire incidents is available across the top of the list.

7. From the Deleted Fire Incidents list, if needed, click on the arrow icon to recover an incident report to the Fire Incident List.

8. Reports will remain in the Deleted Fire Incidents list for a set amount of time.

9. Set the default retention time for deleted fire incidents in Incident Documentation -> NFIRS Setup -> General.
