Command: Board Section

Purpose

  1. To provide an overview of the Board Section in the Command Module.

Directions

1. The Board Section is split into 3 areas:
  1. Command Staff
  2. Unassigned Units
  3. Assignments






2. The Command Staff Section is configured in Command Setup. Units can be placed in the positions in the Command Staff area but positions cannot be edited or added.






3. The Unassigned Units section shows all units that are dispatched to your incident including additional alarms and upgrades. Units can be dragged and dropped into command staff positions or assignments.






2.  The following options are available in the Unassigned Units area:
  1. Additional Units can be added by selecting the + Unassigned Units Button
  2. Users can search for Units within the Unassigned Units Area
  3. Each Unit Unassigned Unit has the follow options available in the Stacked Menu
    1. Edit Unit (change name or switch to another unit)
    2. Clear Unit (only clears unit from the Command Board not the incident)
    3. Duplicate Unit
    4. Add Notes to that specific Unit






3. In the Assignments area the assignments are arranged as configured in the spedific Template within Command Setup. The assignments can be rearranged into any order. The following items are accessible across the top:
  1. Assignments Ratio  (Completed/Total Assignments)
  2. PAR Timer
  3. Will turn YELLOW when 1 minute left to reach PAR Time, with optional sound and will turn RED  when PAR Time is reached with optional sound.
  4. Complete All--Will mark all Assignment complete. Any units within the individual assignments will be returned to the Unassigned Units Section
  5. Add Assignment--Additional assignments can be added from an established list or custom assignments can be created.






4. Each assignment has a menu that can be accessed by the stacked icons that includes:
  1. Edit 
  2. Delete 
  3. Complete  (any units within the assignment will be returned to the Unassigned Units Area)
  4. Log History (Takes user to the Log Section and filters the entries to that specific assignment)
  5. Duplicate
  6. Add Notes (attached to that assignment)






5. When a Unit is placed into and assignment the following occurs:
  1. The timer for the assignment and the Unit will start. The assignment timer will continue until the Assignment is marked complete. The unit timer only captures how long that Unit has been placed in that assignment.
  2. The Unit Menu now allows for the option to mark the Unit as a lead for that assignment by displaying a Blue bar across the top of the Unit.
