Assets Module Setup: Notification

Purpose

To explain the functions and options within the Notifications Tab of the Assets Module Setup Tab.

Directions

1. Click on Assets.






2. Click on Setup.






3. Click on Notification.






4. Notifications will be sent from the email address assets@firstdue.com.




Info:  Currently the option to select an agency address to receive the notifications from is disabled.  This feature is reserved for later use.


5. To turn a notification on, click the toggle. When enabled, the toggle will turn blue.






6. Begin typing the name of the user/team and select it from the dropdown list.






- Notifications can be sent to individual users or a team of users.






- For Notification of idle work orders, select the number of days that a work order must be idle before the notification is sent.






- For overdue checklist notifications, the time to notify must also be selected.





- For Notification on expiring items, up to three separate notification reminders can be specified.


For Notification on expiring items, up to three separate notification reminders can be specified.

Note:  All three expiration reminders DO NOT have to be selected.  To receive only one notification, leave the remaining notification fields blank.


7. When finished, click Save.
