The purpose of this article is to explain the features and functions of the Equipment list.

1. Click on the Equipment List in the Assets Module

2. Selecting the Actions button will allow users to utilize the Import Wizard or perform bulk operations in assigning or archiving multiple items of equipment.

3. Selecting the New Equipment button will allow users to add single items of equipment.

4. Selecting column headers will sort items in ascending or descending order for the selected column

5. Selecting the chevron or ellipsis will open up all of the available actions for equipment items.

6. Selecting the dropdown arrow will bring up the list of available views

7. Predefined Views are based on Equipment Type and include all specification data fields for that equipment type

8. Selecting the pin will make that Equipment Type the default view for that user when accessing the Equipment List. Selecting the star will add that Equipment Type as a Favorite View.

10. Selecting the ellipsis on an open view offers two options: - Add View allows users to create their own custom view. - Clone will allow users to copy, then customize any available views to their specific needs.






11. Selecting the magnifying glass will open up the search bar

Typing in a portion of or the full value of the following fields will return results:

  • Equipment Group

  • Name

  • Equipment Id

  • Make

  • Model

  • Serial Number

12. Selecting the Filter will open the list of filtering options.

13. Selecting the download button will download the selected view, list, or search to a .csv file
