Asset Log Book

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to inform users how to navigate and utilize an asset's logbook in the First Due Assets module. 
Note: This process applies to Apparatus, Equipment, Stations, and Kits.

Directions


1. Click on Assets.


Click on Assets.



2. Click on the appropriate Asset Checks view.


Click on Equipment Checks.



3. Locate the appropriate asset.


Locate the appropriate apparatus.



4. To create a log entry, click on the blue Add button in the Asset Overview view.

5. Type the entry in the Summary field and attach images or files if necessary.

6. When finished, click on Save.

7. To view the asset's log book, expand the Log Book view.

8. The Log Book can be filtered by utilizing the search fields.

9. Manual entries can either be edited or deleted by utilizing the appropriated icons in the Actions column.

10. System generated log entries cannot be edited or deleted.
