Kit List: How to archive a Kit

Purpose

  1. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to archive a kit and relocate the inventory items within it into another kit.
Alert
This process will remove Kits from the active Kit List. They will no longer be available for use within the system. Historical information will be available, but kit will no longer be used in the system.

Instructions


1. Click on Kit List within the Assets Module.

2. Selecting the chevron or ellipsis will open additional actions.





3.  Find the kit to be archived, then select the file box.





4. If there aren't any inventory items in the kit, users will get the following modal.


If there aren't any inventory items in the kit, users will get the following modal.

Any EQUIPMENT in the kit will remain in the account and be unassigned.


5. If there is inventory in the kit, users will receive the Relocate Inventory modal.


If there is inventory in the kit users will receive the Relocate Inventory modal.




6. Select the Kit you want to relocate the inventory to from the To Kit dropdown.


Select the Kit you want to relocate the inventory item(s) to.




7. Select the item(s) in the pouch from the kit that's being archived to be relocated.

8. Select the pouch the item(s) are to be relocated to, then select the left facing arrow.

9. Repeat steps 7-8 as necessary.

10. Additional pouches can be created into the transfer kit by selecting the Add Pouch Button.

11. Type in a name for the pouch, then select Save.

12. If items need to be transferred into other kits, select Continue Transferring then, repeat steps 6-8, if not go to step 13.

13. When you are done, select Save and Finish.
