2. Click on Apparatus Checks.
3. Click on the apparatus group that contains the specified apparatus.
4. Locate and click on the apparatus.
- General apparatus information will be displayed for the specified apparatus.
- The Update Record link will redirect users to the Apparatus List > Edit Apparatus view.
Note: The Apparatus List > Edit Apparatus view allows users to record detailed apparatus information, specifications, and associated apparatus data. Checklists, work orders, fluids, the apparatus logbook, and compartments associated with the apparatus will also be manageable from the Apparatus list > Edit apparatus view.
- The Last Check field displays the title and date of the most recently completed checklist for the apparatus.
- View the work order history of the apparatus or create a new work order by clicking the corresponding work order button.
- Record Fluid additions such as diesel, diesel exhaust fluid, oil, etc. by clicking Add in the Fluid field.
- Create a manual log entry for the apparatus by clicking Add in the Log Entry field.
- Assign the vehicle to a specific user by clicking the dropdown and selecting the user from the list.
Alert: This field is intended for vehicles that are issued to a specific department user (i.e. Chief vehicles). Apparatus such as Engines, Ladders, and other duty apparatus will likely not be assigned to a specific user.
- Change the service status of the vehicle by clicking the toggle.
Info: The Time Out of Service clock is a cumulative clock that tracks how long the vehicle has been out of service over its lifespan. Placing a vehicle back in service does not reset clock; it only pauses it.
- Change the Primary/Reserve status by clicking the toggle.
