Apparatus List: Apparatus Import Wizard

Purpose

The purpose of this article is to demonstrate how to utilize the apparatus import wizard in First Due's Assets Module.

Directions


1. Click on Assets


Click on Assets




2. Click on Apparatus List



Click on Apparatus List



3. From the Main Grid select the Actions Dropdown

4. Select Import Wizard

5. From the Drop down menu Select Department Apparatus



From the Drop down menu Select Department Apparatus


6. Click on Next






7. Download the .csv file and enter the information for all of your apparatus using a new line for each apparatus. (See attached .csv download for an example)

8. Once the .csv file has been completed select the Browse File button and select your file.

9. Your file should appear on the screen

10. Click on Next…






11. Click on Choose Import Type…


Use the appropriate selection




12. Click on Next…






13. Check that your fields are Mapped properly to the existing First Due Apparatus Fields

14. Click on Next…







15. Click on Import…

When the import has completed it will display fields that have been successfully imported or fields that require your attention.





16. Click on Finish
