The purpose of this article is to instruct users on how to permanently archive multiple pieces of apparatus simultaneously in the First Due System. Archiving an apparatus will permanently remove all functionality of the apparatus in the First Due system, allowing only historical information to be visible.
Note: The archive function differs from the delete function in that historical information for archived apparatus is still visible in the First Due system. When an apparatus is deleted using the delete function, all information pertaining to the apparatus is removed from the First Due system.
Warning: THIS PROCESS IS NOT REVERSIBLE! Archiving an apparatus will remove the apparatus from the active Apparatus List. Historical information will be available for view, but the apparatus will no longer be available for use in First Due.
Info: This process should only be used in situations in which there are no plans of returning the apparatus to use. Examples of this include but are not limited to apparatus end of life and/or sale of an apparatus.
