Ad-Hoc Reporting: Automatic Calculation Columns

Ad-Hoc Reporting: Automatic Calculation Columns

Purpose

Agencies often use standard calculations for time intervals on an incident. Instead of having to create a Custom Column to calculate these time intervals on every report that requires them, First Due created a series of these calculations as Columns inside their respective Data Sources.

Information

  1. Follow the normal procedure for selecting Columns as found in Ad-Hoc Reporting: Columns.
  2. By adding one or more of these columns, the date time difference calculation will be automatically made for you based on the values in the record.
  3. Automatic time calculation columns are usually identified by containing the word "to" or "total" in reference to a time. They also do not have an associated NEMSIS code because they are created internally by calculating between two NEMSIS fields.
