About the Personnel Dashboard

Purpose

  1. To provide a brief overview of the Personnel Dashboard.
IMPORTANT: Personnel and Scheduling modules have split. This article and video tell you to access the Personnel Module. You should instead access the Scheduling Module.

Overview 

  1. When a user logs into the Personnel module they will see the Dashboard located at the top of the menu.  This dashboard displays the user's profile, announcements, time off bank, and today's assignment (if on shift).  This article will explain the different sections of the Dashboard.

  2. Navigate to Personnel > Dashboard



  • Several items are listed in the Dashboard, including: 
    1. Overview of the Users Profile
    2. Announcements
    3. Daily Assignments
    4. Time Off Bank 






    Profile

    1. Your profile will be displayed on the Dashboard. It will show:
      1. Your Photo
      2. Your Name
      3. Your Rank/Groups assigned






    Announcements


    1. The announcements area can be used by those with sufficient permissions to post information for other users. 


    Managing Announcements

     Create a New Announcement

     Edit an existing Announcement

     Delete an existing Announcement

    NOTE: Announcements can only be added, edited, or deleted by those with sufficient permissions.

    IMPORTANT: When editing or deleting an announcement, the edits or deletion applies to all users across your account. In other words, if you delete the announcement, it's deleted from all users. Be sure to ensure only key personnel have the permissions to manage announcements.



    Today's Assignment

    1. If you are scheduled to work today, the assignment of the day will be displayed here.  
      1. Other users assigned to the same apparatus or assignment will be listed in addition to you. 
    2. You are able to view your riding position as well, which will be listed to the right side of your name.
      1. In this  example,  indicates Engineer indicates Captain




    Time Off Bank

    1. The Time Off Bank section shows you the Bank of Hours and Time Off Requests.
      1. The colors listed will be associated to a specific type of time off that your department chooses.

        1. In this example: = Sick, = Vacation, = Shift Trade
      2. The Bank of Hours shows the amount of hours you have available and the total you have earned.
      3. Time off Requests shows the amount and type of time off used for each month of the year.
